Get in touch

Max Eats Out is run by one person, so support is an email address rather than a help desk — but it is read, and it is the right place for everything below.

What to write about

  • Corrections to the guide — a venue has closed, moved, changed its name, or an entry has something wrong in it. These are genuinely welcome; the guide is only as good as its corrections. Signed-in members can also use “Suggest a change” on the venue page itself, which is faster.
  • Venue information — if you run a venue and something about your entry is wrong, say so and it will be fixed. Inclusion is editorial and not for sale, so there is no listing to buy and no fee to remove one.
  • Account problems — invitations, sign-in, password resets, changing your display name, or closing your account.
  • Privacy requests — a copy of your information, a correction, or a deletion. See the Privacy notice for what is held and what your rights are.
  • Member contributions — to edit or remove a dish recommendation you wrote, or to raise one that should not be there. You can also edit and delete your own from the venue page.
  • The API and MCP server — bugs, rate limits, wrong data in a response, or questions about using the catalogue in your own software. Start with the developer page, which covers most of it.
  • Security — if you have found a vulnerability, please email before doing anything else. That route is always welcome.

What support cannot do

Max Eats Out cannot book you a table, contact a venue on your behalf, or confirm whether somewhere is open tonight — the guide is editorial, and it has no relationship with the venues in it. For any of that, go straight to the venue.
